We had a blank canvas to work on and had a design in mind on what we wanted so what we arranged to see Adrian at our house we discussed this and Adrian went away and worked on our design for us, Adrian also had some other ideas that he shared with us and we liked what he had in mind too. We came across Adrian Horgan of Natural Landscape following viewing some work that had been carried out at a friend of ours, the transformation looked great on their garden so we wanted a bit of that in our garden too. Would definitely recommend Natural Landscapes and will use them again. Many commented that the new patio blended very well with the house and it could have been there for many years. We have just had a party in the garden and everybody was really impressed with the patio. Great result and work finished well in advance of our deadline. Adrian has great ideas and I was confident that I could leave him to get on with the work. The design evolved as the work progressed. Adrian and the team then laid a fantastic York stone patio using the stone from the old patio and several pallets of reclaimed stone. Blain and Connor worked very hard digging out the ground in bad weather. Following an initial site visit Adrian gave us a quote and design. Our builder offered to do the work, but having used Natural Landscapes before we knew that Adrian was the man for the job. Having had a conservatory built we needed to have a new patio. We have graduated over the last 20 years from a tiny garden pond to full scale redesigns, including a large wildlife pond, vegetable beds, terraces and ornamental pools.Īde and his colleagues are careful, considerate and have a strong combination of aesthetics, practical capability and environmental awareness. If problems arise, such as unexpected ground conditions, weather or materials supply (remember the start of lockdown!) they are not ignored/hidden, but are discussed and a revised approach is devised. Ade, and his capable team members put this design onto practice effectively. Having this good mechanical approach, along with a holistic aesthetic view (so I'm told) makes for a good design. For instance positioning a pump so it can be reached for cleaning, or making a sump sufficiently large to stand a hot summer day is really important, yet often overlooked.
In all likelihood, you chose your home based on your design preferences, so this is a good place to start.A new external area, whether that's a patio, water feature or complete garden, will have a long lifetime.Īde's approach of ensuring that the materials and design characteristics will stand the test of time is invaluable.
